Joseph was sold to Egypt by his own brothers, that is, the above people except Benjamin because he was small or some other reason. In Egypt, Joseph married with other people. The Lord gave him 2 sons Manesseh and Ephraim. Due to a famine, Israelites came to Joseph in Egypt. Jacob while on his death bed blessed Ephraim that he will rule over Manesseh the elder one. For 600 years, the Israelite were in Egypt, soon they were made slaves.
